Pinky spoke for Shell Women's Network in February 2010
"Just writing to say thank you for the Pearls of Wisdom session that you deilvered earlier today at the Shell Centre. I had heard amazing things about you from different people and have been keen for a long time to meet you. My experience of the Women of the Future Awards last year deepened my desire to meet you. You can only imagine how happy I was when I was able to meet with you today through my role in the Shell African Network. It was simply fantastic that we got the chance to not only meet you but to have the long chat that we did after the session. You are a truly inspiring woman."
Mirian Kene Kachikwu, Legal Counsel
"I just wanted to echo Mirian's comments on your session, and on the energy and passion you demonstrate, which serves as inspiration to us all. Having been to the past couple of AWA events, I was very keen to attend your session today and have not been let down - the combination of words of wisdom and a thoroughly enjoyable cooking demonstration was an excellent idea!"

Pinky was invited to speak at Judge Business School, University of Cambridge in February 2010
"I have been teaching and introducing distinguished speakers in this lecture theatre for many years, and I have seldom experienced so much warmth and so many smiles from the audience. While your hands-on cooking demonstration was a first for our Leadership Series, it is clearly something we need to do again. The first few rows of seats have never been so popular before"
Dr Jochen Runde, Director of the MBA
Pinky launched her new book "Coriander...makes the difference" at Harrods, London, November 2009
"I met you at Harrods on Tuesday night for your wonderful Coriander masterclass...
I wanted to thank you for a very enjoyable evening! The food was delicious and your warmth and humour made for a very relaxed and unique press event.
I read both your books...but particularly enjoyed the lovely proverbs in your new one...I shall be reading it carefully over the next week, as I think there is a lot that one can learn from such words of wisdom...I really enjoyed the energy and style of your cookery and have a lot of admiration for your other public achievements too."

Pinky was guest speaker at the Said Business School, University of Oxford in October 2009
"Most importantly thank you, thank you, thank you, for your time, your speech, your inspiration and your spicy Bombay Potatoes! When we first met all my instincts told me that you were the woman for last night's event, which in turn was a significant moment for the School, and you provided everything and more that we hoped for. As you said in your speech - do something for somebody for which they can never repay you. We could have paid your usual speaking fee five times over and it still wouldn't have covered the real value that you gave."
Rachel Nickerson, Deputy Head of Alumni Relations
"On behalf of the Women in Business Group, I would like to thank you one more time for your wonderful speech last evening. Everyone in the audience was captivated by your words (and your cooking!). For me, it was also a celebration of diversity in Oxford. In a lecture theatre that unfortunately does not feature women presenters very often, it was so powerful to have an energetic and successful person like you as a role model for the incoming class. I hope we have the opportunity to work together in the future."
Analia Lemmo
"I introduced myself to you the other night at the Oxford MBA Women in Business event as a food writer. I cannot tell you how lovely it was to have you speak on our first day. I just felt, seeing you there and hearing you and eating your Spicy Bombay Potatoes, like maybe there was room for someone like me in business school after all, and I thank you for that."

Pinky was the Awards Speaker at Northampton High School in November 2009
"I just had to write to you today to thank you so much for being such a glorious Awards Speaker for us. Many, many parents and girls commented on what a wonderful speech you gave, with several saying you were the best speaker the school had ever had. Your wit, warmth, example and encouragement are hugely memorable and I think we all felt deeply touched by your words last night. You make a fantastic role model for girls on the brink of making their careers in the world."
Sarah Dixon
Pinky was invited to speak at the Prize Giving Ceremony at Westholme School in October 2009
"I wish you could have been in school last Friday. The place was really buzzing with your name on everyone's lips. The girls had really enjoyed your speech and the prize winners were genuinely touched by the time limited but encouraging words you were able to have with them. Thank you so much for taking great trouble to get it right. You certainly did - in abundance!
On the Friday morning there was an A level biology class with 8 Asian girls in it. They were particularly inspired and wanted to talk to their teacher about all you had said. Certainly they were feeling much more positive and ready to take on new initiaves as a result of your words. Usually those girls are the ones who hang back a little but I'm sure that they will have a lot more confidence now simply after seeing you as a role model and believing in what you had to say."
Lillian Croston
Pinky topped the bill at the Women Mean Business conference at Blackpool Pleasure Beach in May 2009

Christine Lambe, Chamber of Commerce, East Lancashire
Pinky was guest speaker at the National Council of Women of Great Britain conference, Darlington, April 2009

Kristina Hagen, Josephine Butler College
Pinky was invited to speak at the Aberdeen Ladies' Lunch, March 2009.
"As for Pinky. Inspired choice! She took us all with her from the mmoment she opened her mouth and if you counted words per minute, I suspect her 17 minutes would have set a world record. Her sense of humour struck exactly the right balance, yet we all learned a lot about about her interesting life and what a powerhouse she is. An obviously generous, open-hearted lady, she strikes me as someone who never takes no for an answer! Our table all warmed to her and thoroughly enjoyed her talk."
"Pinky has the ability to create an instant rapport with her audience. Her ability to weave anecdotes with inspiring messages is very entertaining and captivates her audience."
Pinky was invited to distribute prize certificates at Channing School, January 2009.
"We were thrilled to have you with us. The place was buzzing with excitement about you and your inspirational words. At a time of year when it is so grey and dark, you really did bring a spark of life into all our lives. The girls were very excited about the whole evening and I am still glowing from the many warm comments from parents."
Barbara Elliott, Head Teacher
