The Women of Achievement Ambassadors programme
Women of Achievement “Ambassadors”
Through the Ambassadors programme we will appoint 12 people to be annual Women of Achievement ambassadors. The “Ambassadors” programme will forge a deep alliance between our awards ambassadors and school sixth-formers. The broader objective is to communicate that, for younger people today, not only is “anything possible” but that genuine mentors exist to help the ambitious achieve their goals.
Aside from the prestige of the appointment, Women of Achievement ambassadors also gain the chance to visit and encourage inspiring projects; and the opportunity to guide and inspire the next generation of schoolchildren to excel and succeed.
Among the activities undertaken by the Women of Achievement ambassadors:
A reception bringing together 30/40 sixth-formers and Women of Achievement ambassadors.
Each ambassador will undertake two or more events per annum speaking at schools; representing the awards at events; publicising Award activities and values.
Media appearances to communicate the aims and values of the Women of Achievement “Ambassadors” programme.
